King of the Road 2003 Thrasher 2003, 30 minutes Current Rating: 4 out of 5 stars This video documents four different teams as they race across the country to rack up points and become Thrasher's King of the Road. The teams involved are Tum Yeto, Volcom, Deluxe, and Es. Each team is given certain challenges to complete in specific cities, and the challenges are worth different amounts of points and don't always involve skating. The teams all start out in different cities, meet in Carbondale, Co. for the Thrasher barbeque, and end the contest in San Francisco. Each team also gets to meet up with a mystery guest to join the team's trip. February 28, 2005 I got to give it to Thrasher on this one. Take the movie Canonball Run, add some skating to it and take out Burt Reynolds, Dom Deluise, and Sammy Davis Jr. Replace them with Dan Drehobl, Dustin Dolin, and Eric Koston and now you have Trasher's King of the Road 2003. The skaters rule in this video and you get to see other crazy stuff like JT Aultz making out with your mom's ugliest friend. Not bad. Drehobl also does a frontside air on an M-16. Crazy.
