Ammo: The Next Round
Santa Cruz
1999, 10 minutes
Current Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Santa Cruzís 1999 promo, Ammo: The Next Round, came from the legendary board company nearly three years after Pack Media. This video features skating from both the pros and ams, all tearing up ledges, rails, stairs, and banks. Each skater has a small part and there are no montages. Like many promo vids, this one caters to the short attention span skaters out there that can deal with a 20 minute max.

Ammo: The Next Round is definitely up to par with the rest of the Santa Cruz videos. This is one of those videos thatís perfect to watch just before the daily skate because of itís short length, smooth flow and quality skating that weíve learned expect from Santa Cruz. The man of the hour is Jake Rupp, who breaks the stigma of getting caught up in trying the craziest tricks. Instead, he comes through with mad style. The music also fits perfectly with each skater and their manner. All in all, this is one of my favorites. If you find a copy, do yourself a favor and snatch it up.
