Expect a soundtrack of rock and rap to drive the fast-paced skating. Faces from all over the industry pop up so keep an eye out for your hero. June 29, 2003 Thrasher has always strived to be true to skateboarding and Firing Squad is yet another case in point. No pranks, no day-in-the-life, no philosophical ponderings; this is a no-nonsense skate video. The skating covers street, vert, pools and parks from all over the world (plus a full-pipe clip as an added bonus). Nothing gets left behind. The squeamish should beware of Justin Reynolds' part, as it starts with probably one of the most sickening bail shots I've seen in a long time. One should also know that although there aren't really standard parts in a traditional sense, Thrasher still does a nice job of keeping things from getting too ambiguous by separating sections by location. A weak point is that the segments don’t have the best closure. Nonetheless, Firing Squad is an excellent video and worth owning. Poey
