With skaters such as Paul Zitzer, Jeff Lenoce, Sean Mullendore and Forrest Kirby, Static contains a diverse range of skating styles. Each of the featured skaters have their own video part and in between, a city montage is featured such as Washington DC, Tampa, Miami, etc. In the city sections, local skaters of the area, from big names to no names, have a trick or two featured. The music content varies from rock to hip hop.

At first, I was kinda skeptical seeing this video on the shelf at the store, but when I saw it on the tube I realized that this was a pretty good video with some quality skating in it. Skaters like Forrest Kirby always have great parts, this time nailing a slew of long street lines. Even a skater many may not have heard of, Omar Alverio, has several good tricks including a manual to 360 flip out and a switch frontside big spin heelflip. The location feature is a definite plus because it showcases a lot of underground talent. All in all, Static is worth adding to your collection.
