Current Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
Joy and Pain is brought to you by the Midwestern skateboard representatives, Fobia. The opener is a fast montage which leads into the main parts. Each featured skater gets a small visual intro section with skating or slams before their part begins. There’s a montage section halfway through featuring Fobiarmy soldiers like Ryan Hansen and Simon Cheng and a Mexico section in the last half of the video which showcases some of the demos and local rippers. After the credits roll comes a bonus montage of various Fobia riders. The skating is mainly street with huge drops, gaps, rails, and stairs, and the music varies from Slayer and Metallica to Company Flow and Snoop Dog. |
