Oh My God!
Church of Skatan
2000, 30 minutes
Current Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars

As you may (or may not) know, Church of Skatan has a couple members in common with the Shorty's team. The style of skating is pretty similar in the fact that it's mainly street. Oh My God! opens with a slam section then moves ahead with random pros and ams, featuring one or a couple of tricks. Some of the pros are big names, but Oh My God! also has footage of some skaters which are lesser known, but not lesser skilled. Several contests are featured at the end and the technical quality is good on all aspects. Music ranges from classic rock to machine-made beats.

Oh my God! is a typical modern street video. The skating is alright with a lot of high-tech ledge and picnic table skating and also a few handrails. It's pretty much your average video that you see today. It doesn't really have anything that jumps out at you, but the skating is still really good. Its not a waste of time to watch, but it's not a video I would hunt for.

How naughty, all the one finger salutes in the end of Oh My God! Well, I guess not THAT naughty because the significance of the middle finger is definitely dwindling. I mean I expect at least two middle finger shots per video in the 2k + 1. Enough social commentary. Oh My God! could be enough for a street/tech skaters wet dream. No old farts rock-n-rollin' in pools or ditches. Primarily all the footage is street skating from recent years.
