Current Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Menikmati features the éS team circa 2000 in a straightforward skate video, meaning no skits, pranks, or other shenanigans. Each skater’s part is preceded by an introduction that provides a cultural skate perspective of where they come from, at times with subtitles to boot. The music, most of which is instrumental, covers a range of genres from calm to upbeat, hip-hop to rock.

The incarnation of the éS team has to be the modern equivalent to the mid-eighties Bones Brigade, at least in terms of contest domination. There probably isn’t a major competition that hasn’t been won by one of these guys. With that said, you know some amazing stuff goes down in this video. If you don’t already know, you’re not going to be able to tell whether Arto and Rodrigo ride regular or goofy. Creager has the only short part in the video, but does not cease to amaze with his flip in, flip out skills. Penny’s footage is older and 90% kickflips, but his effortless style still leaves you craving more. Koston’s and Bob’s parts will leave no doubt in your mind that they are each the best in their respective areas of skating. The standout part goes to McCrank, who has some of the more creative lines and spots. The ending section contains some of the funniest and/or most amazing tricks you’ll ever see.
