The Dreams of Children
Transworld
1994, 33 minutes
Current Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

The Dreams of Children brings you skateboarding from every possible skater and terrain that Transworld could get its cameras on. The video has individual parts from several featured skaters varying in length from about 30 seconds to a couple minutes. The rest of the video is filled with montages set to the tune of various forms of rock spanning a wide range. There are pools, gaps, parks, vert, rails, ledges, stairs, minis, and jump ramps. 360 flips, 50/50 grinds, kickflip indys, and inverts are all included.

Wow, I am really impressed. This video has power, style and variety. There is just about every skater that you can imagine, so you are allowed to see an enormous variety of styles. A huge benefit to this video is that along with all of the burly tricks featured, there are also a lot of lines. Donger actually takes you through an entire city during one line in his segment. Security guards try to stop him at one point, but he just keeps on going Rad. Not everything can be all roses though. At times the filming gets really shaky. The camera just doesn't keep up with the skater, causing some pretty shady angles, which cut off the skater at times. But all in all this video is top notch.
