February 11, 2009 - Wow, it's been a long time since our last update! Progress to the site has been slow but they are indeed happening. We haven't given up the fight yet. So please bear with us as we are completely rewritting the site! In the mean time, we're getting a bunch of questions about soundtracks and for those in the know, the best spot to get answers to your questions is over at the SkimTheFat Forums!

July 6, 2007 - News update! Despite what you guys might think, SkimTheFat is not down for the count! Progress to our updates have been slow due to the following: Girls, alcohol, and pure laziness. Jerry has been hard at work on the next sequel to Batman in Chicago and in the fall, plans to take 2 months off to deliver what you guys have been waiting for! In the mean time, we're getting a bunch of questions about soundtracks and for those in the know, the best spot to get answers to your questions is over at the SkimTheFat Forums!

September 7, 2006 - Hey SkimTheFat victims! We're getting a bunch of questions about soundtracks and for those in the know, the best spot to get answers to your questions is over at the SkimTheFat Forums! Yeah, we know that all of the promised updates have been slow to happen. Jerry has been hard at work in Chicago ironing his undies, but please be patient. It's all worth it.

July 12, 2006 - Hello SkimTheFat addicts, we apologize for the lack in progress to the site. Jerry has been working on a movie in Chicago this month and will be busy until the end of August. For those of you who can't wait, we ask for your patience and demand you to relax. For those of you with a bunch of questions to ask, please check out the SkimTheFat Forums! Post questions about skateboarding soundtracks, trade your videos, and talk shit with other skaters, and exchange links.

April 8, 2006 - Hey SkimTheFat patrons. We've been busy working on the site and we've made steady progress on our clip theatre. Pretty soon, you'll be able to watch over 300 clips of videos from the past, present and future. With so many videos in our library, our Powerbook is busy all day capturing video for your enjoyment. We are hoping to update the site by the middle of the summer... For those of you with questions to ask, please take a look at the new SkimTheFat Forums! Post questions about skateboarding soundtracks, trade your videos, and talk shit with other skaters, and exchange links. Life is good.

January 5, 2006 - Happy New Year you SkimTheFatters. We know there hasn't been much action on the site, but behind the scenes we are in the middle of adding a bunch of new features to the site: Things like a brand new video clip theatre, a revised reviewing system and finally, a new interface to the site. Stay tuned! For those who haven't checked it out already, please visit the new SkimTheFat Forums! Post questions about skateboarding soundtracks, trade your videos, and talk shit with other skaters, and exchange links.

September 26, 2005 - Well, the summer is winding down in Chicago and our ball sweat has been traded for itchy typing fingers! For those who haven't checked it out already, visit the new SkimTheFat Forums! Post questions about skateboarding soundtracks, trade your videos, and talk shit... Also new to the site, submit your own SkimTheFat poll. Here's your chance to ask a stupid ass question and have all of our visitors answer it. Not sure about what type of poll question to ask? Look at some of our old polls for inspiration!

July 23, 2005 - Hey folks, the SkimTheFat Forums are finally born! After months of tedious nerdom, Jerry has finally written a message board for all of you suckers to enjoy. We have to apologize for the lack of updates and reviews on the site lately. The summers in Chicago are too good to be caught up indoors and nerding on the computer. But look out for a swarm of activity in the near future, including the new SkimTheFat video clip theatre!

June 24, 2005 - With plenty of emails urging us to get off of our asses, it's about time to add something new to the site. Thus, the STF Forums are soon to be born from our warm and stinky womb. Be prepared!

May 2, 2005 - Spring is slowly getting here and it's looking like our local skate scene is only getting better. So if the scene in your city blows, try coming up with a plan on getting a park in your town. If this doesn't work, try devising a get-rich-quick scheme. You can do it!

April 5, 2005 - Did Tony Hawk release a secret “trick” tips video? Did Bam pay a visit to President Bush in the House of Whiteness? Did Jamie Thomas’s bible banging finally get him in deep holy shit? Believe it!

March 25, 2005 - The Madness of March has been reigning supreme with SkimTheFat, and shirking is at an all time high! But to our credit, the STF computer lab is fucked as a result of the construction going down at the Casa de Fat. We hope you have a great weekend discovering eggs in your lawn.

March 8, 2005 - If you’ve been dropping by lately, you may have noticed a couple changes. Jerry’s been programming like a mad man and has posted a news archive, tightened up the look of the site and even entered the rarest of Powell videos, Axe Rated. He also just finished pouring a concrete counter top at home. He claims it's for a the top of a bar, but I'm pretty sure he has his own reasons.

February 3, 2005 - The videos are starting to pour in and although video entry may feel like learning to type again, we’re still making it happen. Our bro Frodo, hailing all the way from Middle Earth, sent us a video called Boston Massacre. Let’s just say that after I watched it, I felt warm, chunky soup dribbling down my leg. Yes, I lost my shit. It’s definitely worth checking out and if you know of a video of the same caliber, send it over. In the meantime, do yourself a favor and sponsor your bumper.

January 7, 2005 - The New Year is here and we made sure to welcome it with a healthy night of boozing, or cocktailing as the fruitbooters call it. I guess it wasn’t as gnarly as waking up in a pile of your own puke and shit, but still pretty gruesome. In related news, the turbines of the SkimTheFat Data Entry Sweatshop have been greased again and we’ve added the new Toy Machine vid amongst a handful of others. Stay tuned for more videos and eventually some reviews.

December 16, 2004 - Happy Kwanza to all! May your Kinara or "candelabra" burn bright, especially the Umoja (which we think may symbolize “togetherness” or “Whitey on a stake.”) And as you're observing your special holiday, take a gander at the joy and jubilation over at SkimTheFat! We’re getting settled into our new place and the video lab is so close to being set up that you can almost smell the video tapes slowly baking in our VCRs…. Such delicious, flakey plastic crust only can come from the SkimTheFat hearth.

December 5, 2004 - Over the last month, we’ve been through what the critics are calling “one of the most grueling, lengthy and fucked-up house closings possible.” This includes getting our current residence broken into and having our entire DVD collection stolen, an attempt to close on a house with a lien against the title and finishing out a three month lease in an apartment lacking a single piece of furniture. But with balls the size of coconuts and a brain the size of one of his balls, Mario, our fearless realtor, made the dream happen. Holla at a player! With any new dwelling, a name is necessary. Chateau de Fat... Fat Heights... SkimTheRent... We’re working on it. Regardless, by the end of the month our video lab will be reconstructed and our reviewers will come out of hibernation for some hard hitting action. Get ready...

October 9, 2004 - The dream is finally about to come true!! A PERMANENT SkimTheFat HQ is about to become a reality. We have pooled all our riches from SkimTheFat sticker, contest and crack sales and have purchased a beautiful home in central Chicago. So not only can you send more riches and/or anthrax our way, but you can also stop by when you’re touring skateparks this Winter! What’s better than that?! The new address will posted soon. Stay tuned, brethren and sistren.

September 12, 2004 - Holla! School is back in and for many of you, spitwads are being tossed instead of hammers, chalkboard erasers are being clapped instead of hands and pencils are being focused instead of boards. Fortunately, it's also time for us to get our shit together and start adding more videos and reviews, so that your minds are their sharpest. We are in process of receiving a generous package from our brothers at 411 Video Magazine so we'll be typing away at getting their latest videos added to our roster. Data entry here we come!

August 26, 2004 - It’s weird writing new news after such a long time. It’s kinda like that awkward first meeting after you break up with someone... Well, that's where skateboarding comes into play. Not only is it our beacon of light in dark times, but it's also a great workout. Go get fit!

July 12, 2004 - Goddamn was yesterday a hot one at the skatepark... I may be pretty skinny, but I somehow managed to sweat like a fat man before the sesh even started. By the time I was done (45 minutes later) I felt like dying. Worse yet, my undies acted as a sponge, retaining ball and taint sweat easily for 3 hours post session. The bottom line is you ought to be outside doing the same thing! The fact that you're still sitting there reading this is sickening. No one reads our news anyway. We change it like once a month and it's always a stupid rant about nothing worthwhile. Do us all a favor. Skate!

June 29, 2004 - Breaking News: What started as a contest drought has continued into an entire content drought! Will SkimTheFat die? Will SkimTheFat turn soft? Will SkimTheFat jump on the next fad? FUCK NO!! Whether it’s the summer finally being here, Jerry out of town on a movie shoot or Pete moving from house to house like a nomad, there’s always another place to point a finger. We prefer to save our finger usage for a healthy bout of road rage, so with that said, check out the new reviews from the real SkimTheFat heroes and then go skate.

June 11, 2004 - The truth is out, but for once it doesn’t hurt! The benevolent skate monks from Slap Magazine gave us indirect mention by posting a screenshot of a Google search on “mark gonzales jazz video days.” Yes, we were the top hit and yes, we bought 15 copies of the issue and framed 10 of them in the SkimTheFat video lab. In other news, we have several brand new recruits who are currently throwing verbal hammers. Do yourself a favor and check out the lyrical genius of ItsRainingMikeItsRaining, Midwest Prisoner, No-Comply and Squarepusher over here.

May 20, 2004 - How’s this for a news break: "SkimTheFat in Slap Magazine?!" Is it true? Most likely it’s the Poser of the Year Awards or some shit, but it’s not like we would know… We’re too damn broke to pick up an issue! But tomorrow, dammit, we’re going to dig through our savings or the couch cushions, that is, and round up the loot to see if we actually have our name in print. We’d also like to take time to send shouts to our bro Mason from the dirty south, who sends us more props and emails than we can shake a stick at!! You’re a true soldier in the Army of the Skim indeed.

May 14, 2004 - Thank Satan It’s Friday!! Our esteemed regional group conference sales and production manager sent us a memo about this weekend being an eventful one. So if you’re injured or too wasted to skate and just happen to be checking us out, you’ll find new videos, new reviews and even some new reviewers added to the roster. “It’s about time!” you say… Our Traffic contest is still in the works, but like any heavily-hyped release, it’s going to be well worth it. Thanks for supporting SkimTheFat and for limiting your hating to when you don’t get any play.

May 4, 2004 - Last week we headed out to the Chicago Tent City premier. It's hard to say, but Nichols & Charnosky may have produced their finest documentary to date... If you’re a fan of Anti-hero or burly concrete transition skating, it’s surely a vid to check out. The Traffic Skateboards contest is still in the works and will hopefully be on shelves by the end of the week. Stay tuned and as always, if you have a video we don’t, hook a brother up.

April 27, 2004 - This weekend wasn’t a terribly eventful one in the world of SkimTheFat. The Million Mom March was too far away and the March of Dimes was too close. So we added some new videos (one of which was kindly sent over from the Premier crew.) Our newly hyped contest with Traffic Skateboards is still in the works and will be on shelves by the end of the week for sure. Stay tuned and as always, if you have a video we don’t, share the wealth.

April 9, 2004 - Hot damn, was the Thirdchoice contest one to remember or what?! Thanks again Thirdchoice! Before pouring the last of our forties on the ground, we posted the results today for your viewing and imminent bitching. Let it be known that this weekend, along with other forties being tapped, there’s going to be some new video additions, reviews and a contest in the works with skate pimp/legend Ricky Oyola’s Traffic Skateboards!

April 1, 2004 - Happy April Fool’s, everyone! We’ve been pretty busy today lining up the pranks. Between taking a crap on the toilet seat and filling a pair of shoes with vaseline, there’s a mean contest to be King of Gags. My next plan is to make a used-rubber casserole for dinner and watch the chaos ensue! On a much more serious matter, the days of the Thirdchoice contest are almost over, which means you best step up. For all you country folk, that’s slang for take the challenge. Good luck!

March 19, 2004 - The Thirdchoice Skateboards contest has been a blockbuster hit! For less than the price of a cup of Skaterade, you can win Thirdchoice’s solid wood, attractive cotton fiber and sticky vinyl. In equally exciting news, this weekend will be a SkimTheFat Work Weekend. Plenty of new videos, reviews and video trades. Holler at us!

March 8, 2004 - Our new contest with the hard hitters from Thirdchoice Skateboards is underway and the entries are rolling in faster than stink grows on our pits. This also means that the Foundation Eurotour contest results are posted, so if we suckered you into entering, you can finally see how much ass you kicked. As usual, we’re still trying to add new videos to our mix. In addition to adding bunch of lesser-knowns, we’re getting closer to completing our 411 collection (a.k.a. the bane of our existence). If you have any vids we’re missing we’re always down for a trade!

March 3, 2004 - The Foundation Eurotour Contest results are posted, so if you were cool enough to try it out, see how much ass you kicked right here. Otherwise, our new contest with Thirdchoice Skateboards is so close to finishing that we’re about to bust our “giveaway nut.” Since you’re jobless, keep checking back for the action.

February 29, 2004 - Just like the sale of realistic water pistols or scurvy, most good things have to come to an end; most recently, our contest with Foundation Skateboards. By tomorrow morning, our results will be posted and the winners will be announced. Until then, it’s your job to get your mom, brother, friends, and pets to enter the contest so you have a better chance of winning! Unless you’re a kook and you use the same email address more than once, we’ll never figure it out. Go figure, a new contest is a-brewin’ with our homies over at Third Choice Skateboards. Despite their name, they were our first choice for this month’s contest. Go check them out!

February 19, 2004 - Hey there, folks. For a good laugh, check out this email we received from our tight bros over at Fox: Greetings, I am contacting you from Nash Entertainment and "Totally Outrageous Behavior", the new Fox half-hour clip show. We are looking for outrageous stunts, crashes, out-takes and wild behavior for our program and would like to know if you have any footage that fits this description. Above all it should be funny. We license everything we use in the show and pay fair rates for footage. Please let me know if you are interested in letting us take a look at your material for consideration for our show. Sincerely, Greg Nash Entertainment Stay tuned for our response...

February 1, 2004 - We’ve just finished entering our 500th video! The blistered fingers, bloodshot eyes and numbed brain has totally been worth it. After all, now we have the 1000th video benchmark to look forward to. Yay. Equally cool is our second tour video contest with the almighty Foundation Skateboards. Giving away tools is passe, so get on the new bandwagon and win your broke self the new Foscko European Tour Video through summoning your chi.

January 21, 2004 - The bet is on! With our born-again love for entering skateboard video information, the Guinness Book of Nerd Records has challenged us to a duel of unparalleled mental stamina. The challenge: to bring the SkimTheFat video library up to 500 videos by February 1st! The days are limited and the videos are fourth-generation unlabeled copies so get ready for the action. If we end up completing our task, we’re going to reward your support (hint: spam, get well cards, blow up dolls…) by launching our new contest for the month of February. It’s a surprise, but it’ll be a great tour video giveaway from skateboarding’s finest.

January 12, 2004 - After buying spinners for all of our friends last month, we’ve broken our bank. This means that our first contest of the year will start on February 1st. So stay tuned for more news on that. While you’re busy breaking your new resolutions, make sure you check out the new videos and reviews that we’re posting this month. From cheese to steeze, we have it all!

December 24, 2003 - Shouts out for the holidays you punks! Thanks for visiting the site while you're on vacation. And while you're out getting drunk, stoned and fat this month, please spare a thought for John Cardiel who was seriously hurt in a car accident over the weekend. Let's hope everything is alright. Hey, if you're wondering how you did in the Foundation Pop Tool Contest, click here to see your results. If you didn’t participate, take a gander and see how poorly you would have done!

December 11, 2003 - All good things come to an end...as well as some bad things too, such as our bad-ass Pop Tool Contest, courtesy of Foundation Skateboards. See your results or if you didn’t participate, take a gander and see how poorly you would have done. In other equally exciting news, the SkimTheFat Gaming Commission is in the midst of creating a new contest while the SkimTheFat Typing Club is busy on adding some new videos. Know of a video we’re missing? Contact the SkimTheFat Trading Post for some olde fashioned barter!

December 10, 2003 - The Foundation Pop Tool Contest has ended and the SkimTheFat Statistics Department has peformed the regression analysis used to find out which lucky mongrels have earned a pop tool. See the results! In other equally exciting news, the SkimTheFat Gaming Commission is in the midst of creating a new contest while the SkimTheFat Typing Club is busy on adding some new videos. Know of a video we’re missing? Contact the SkimTheFat Trading Post for some olde fashioned barter!

December 8, 2003 - The Foundation Pop Tool Contest has ended and the SkimTheFat Statistics Department is busy performing the regression analysis used to find out which lucky mongrels have earned a pop tool. The results will be posted any day now so stay tuned! In other equally exciting news, the SkimTheFat Gaming Commission is in the midst of creating a new contest while the SkimTheFat Typing Club is busy on adding some new videos. December 2, 2003 - With winter finally upon us, the shorter days and crisp air heightens the senses. The soft dissent of snowflakes, the hardwood smoke pouring from chimneys, and the glowing warmth of our VCRs. This is beauty in it’s purest form. This month, in addition to another whoop-ass contest, we’re going to add a heap of videos as well as plenty of reviews. Keep on checking by for updates and if you catch us slipping, let us know. Also, don’t forget that the days left to participate in our Foundation Pop Tool Contest are frittering away and if you knew what was best for your lint-filled pockets, you’d give it a shot.

November 16, 2003 - After receiving many a hatemail, we’ve pulled our act together and added Mosaic to our collection. We’d like to thank the kind folks at the plasma center who provided us with the dollars used to purchase the video and two Budweiser tallboys. Also noteworthy, is the addition of the FTC trilogy, which was conveniently released last month on DVD. In other news, our Pop Your Tool Contest courtesy of Foundation Skateboards has been a big success, but there's plenty of time for victory. Get on it!

November 7, 2003 - Fact: In high school, all skateboarders excel at Shop without even trying. It’s not that we’re a bunch of schmucks destined for vocational jobs, but that our wood and metal working skills start at an early age out of necessity. Whether jigging out transitions for a backyard miniramp or making a makeshift fun box out of pallets, we have mad skills with tools and the materials used to create and destroy skateable objects. With that said, our new Name The Tool Contest gives you a chance to show off your shop smarts and win a spankin’ new skate key from Foundation Skateboards. But remember, always wear your goggles.

November 4, 2003 - A new contest is a brewin’ in the SkimTheFat contest confines, this time with support from Foundation Skateboards. With equal parts humor, trivia and cheese, this one is guaranteed to be an instant hit. Stay tuned for the action!

October 31, 2003 - Happy Gnarl-o-ween, you gnar-dogs! This weekend, whether you’re carving a pumpkin or some gnarly lines in righteous cement bowl, we hope you follow these safety tips: Don’t skate with lollipops in your mouth unless you’re gnarly. Don’t dress as a fruitbooter, albeit hilarious. And finally, Don’t stick your wiener or boobies in the garbage disposal. xoxo, SkimTheFat

October 23, 2003 - To y’all loyal SkimTheFat supporters, we appreciate you bearing with us this past month while we’ve been moving into our new cribs. But, unlike the T.V. show where the featured artists have platinum toilets and mink bedspreads, we have a hole in the ground and moth-ridden sheets. That’s why we’re going balls out on homemade costumes for Halloween this year. I’m almost done with my Jar Jar Binks costume, with maroon socks for ears and a brown union suit and Jer is just finishing up the sequin sunglasses on his Bootsy Collins outfit. Gripes or Shouts? Let ‘em rip!

September 22, 2003 - As always, we have plenty piled on our plate for the next month. For your nerding pleasure, we’re adding the FTC trilogy, a couple Powell vids and even some more recent releases to our collection. If you're jobless, make sure to check 'em out. There’s also a handful of new writers making rank in the SkimTheFat Army, so stay tuned for their words of wit. You’re damn right a new contest is in the making too, but you’ll get mention soon enough. In other news, the Stoked contest results are posted and ready for review. Depending on how poorly you did, you may need to enroll in Gator 101. That is, go and watch Stoked and get your learn on. Finally, we’d like to congratulate our very own Grumpy Old Man who can officially assume his name with the addition of twins to his family. A spine ramp is in order, my friend...

September 9, 2003 - The Guess the Skatepark contest from OutLook Skateboards finished up smoothly. Those of you who couldn’t sleep the past month from the sheer excitement of waiting for the results can now check ‘em out and then check yourselves in. This month’s contest is courtesy of the promotions people bringing us Stoked: The Rise and Fall of Gator. For all you cave dwellers, Stoked is the feature-length documentary about Mark "Gator" Rogowski, turning from skateboarding legend to convict. Check out the opening dates and locations.

August 19, 2003 - With all the hype over the California Governor Race, we’ve had no choice but to campaign SkimTheFat’s infallible platform to the skate capital of the world. Although we’re still working on our list of false promises, we guarantee:
  • A free public skate park in every city (designed by skaters, dammit)
  • Complimentary antacids with all fast food meals
  • The destruction of every wheel and boot crossbreed
Join the revolution by getting your propaganda!

August 2, 2003 - Who said suspense isn’t a good thing?! Yes, that’s in reference to the climactic buildup to this month’s Guess the Skatepark contest with a gnarly assortment of prizes provided by OutLook Skateboards. Do your duty to win some booty and enter. In other news, with the help of Tyler H., our Logic Skateboard Media insider, we’ll soon be bringing you the entire LSM collection, give or take a few vids. Big shouts to Tyler and his generosity. May other skateboard companies follow his example and give to the nerdy. For the price of a cup of coffee a day...

July 14, 2003 - We’ve just finished entering the info on our 400th video and the fan mail has been pouring in! One email reads, “Are you a MILF hunter?” and another, “Increase your manhood.” You know, it’s amazing how people are getting to know us so well. The scandalous results from the Villain Contest are in and we’re proud to associate with so many purveyors of pugilism. If you were too busy leaping over a sparkler fountain, lighting snakes and throwing whipper-snappers, we suggest you redeem yourself with this month’s contest with Outlook Skateboards. These guys define keeping it real...

July 4, 2003 - On such an important anniversary of Independence, most people are busy laying grinds with their Independent trucks, while listening to Indie music just before getting together to check out re-runs of Indi-ana Jones movies. With bar-b-ques ablaze, it's hard not to get sentimental while drinking out of that red, white and blue can or burning meats and explosives within ten feet of each other. America truly is beautiful. So with that in mind, the month of July at SkimTheFat is going to be über-American. We're going to do our best to super-size, deep-fry and apple-pie SkimTheFat to show our forefathers who laid wax on Plymouth Rock that we're here to follow suit. Join the fun with our Guess the Villain contest or give a shout out to your star-spanglin' homies.

June 25, 2003 - Over the course of this month we’ve had several requests for videos you'd like to see up on the site. Trilogy and Footage have all been added to our collection, which is nearing the 400 mark. If we make it to 400, we’re predicting either a system meltdown of Y2K proportions or a 400th video gala with enough Mad Dog and Ripple Wine to get everyone through the after-after party. In this spirit, if you know of a missing video that is essential to the SkimTheFat library, holler at us and whoop us into shape. Otherwise, take a gamble and try this month’s Guess the Villain contest. You’re bound to have a scandalous time.

June 13, 2003 - Our highly intellectual Me Skateboards Porn Skanks contest is over with, so go check out the results that you’ve been dying to see. Also in contest news is the release of our Guess The Villain contest courtesy of none other than Pittsburgh’s own Villain Skateboards! Straight from the murky waters of the SkimTheFat rumor mill is news that we’re working towards a video clip page where you can sample plenty of visual appetizers. We’re already hard at work with the 411’s so check ‘em out.

June 1, 2003 - This summer marks a time for change at SkimTheFat, but it’s not just the increased consumption of our favorite cold beverages or trying on skintight shorts that used to fit. This summer we’re going to be hard at work on making SkimTheFat bigger, better and badder by adding tons of new videos, video clips and reviews for you. We’re gonna do this shit Egyptian style, with long, grueling hours of back breaking video watching, but we want to know what you think about our sad excuse for a site. Have a suggestion, comment, or a tasty summer recipe? Let us know!

May 12, 2003 - The results for last month's Toy Machine Sucking the Life contest are in! See how your sucking skills added up by checking out the answers. This month, the SkimTheFat contest factory has teamed up with Me Skateboards to bring you a new taste of excitement in the form of a nudie extravaganza. The top winner will receive a new Me deck! In other wind breaking news, rumors have been circling within the SkimTheFat bridge club about limited edition SkimTheFat skateboard decks coming sometime within the summer. They're going to be cheap and collectible as dirt, so get ready.

May 9, 2003 - Greetings, bretheren and sisteren of the SkimTheFat guild. Once again, the monkeys at the SkimTheFat animal testing laboratory are tallying up our contest results. Entrants will be notified within a couple days... In other wind breaking news, rumors have been circling within the SkimTheFat bridge club about limited edition SkimTheFat skateboard decks coming sometime within the summer. They're going to be cheap and collectible as dirt, so get ready.

April 7, 2003 - Let the sucking begin! In case you didn’t notice, this month’s contest is up and running and unless you were raised in a barn (like my cousin, Horace), you’d know you better go and win the new Toy Machine video for your broke ass. Also noteworthy is the fact that we’ve replenished our sticker supply. Decorate a bumper, tag your skate park or use them as makeshift band-aids. Support the cause!

April 1, 2003 - Congratulations to the Mastantuono's for knowing their skate history and winning the Old School Character Skateboards contest! They will be rewarded with a new deck for their smarts. If you're wondering how you placed, check out the answers. Thanks to everyone that entered. So what's next? The honorable Toy Machine is giving the goods for next month's contest with the release of their tour video, "Sucking The Life." Stay tuned.

March 27, 2003 - As you all can see, Character time is ticking away and if you know what is good for your empty pockets, you’ll enter the contest and show off your trivia skills. After all, what would satan do? Also, to avoid March sadness, the honorable Toy Machine is giving the goods for next month's contest with the release of their tour video, "Sucking The Life." What else is new? Not unlike rabbits, we have plenty of springtime additions to our ever-growing video list. Stay tuned amigos.

February 28, 2003 - Hey there, skate rats! March is greeting us Midwest-siders with weather cold enough to give one’s nipples permanent party hats. But when it’s bitterly cold out, do we complain? Hell no! We skate to work…uphill…both ways…and we like it, dammit. What’s new this month? Besides adding plenty of great videos to our collection, Chicago’s own Character Skateboards is helping us donate to the greedy with a new giveaway. The contest is culminating, the prizes are paramount and the excitement is ejaculatory. Try it!

February 4, 2003 - Hey there, skate rats! February has greeted us Midwest-siders with weather cold enough to give one’s nipples permanent party hats. The contest will be culminating, the prizes will be paramount and the excitement will be ejaculatory. Stay tuned!

January 7, 2003 - Happy New Year, Players and Player-haters! The end has come for our critically acclaimed Madness or Mayhem Contest! Our sweatshop laborers have tallied the results and would like to congratulate the 7 winners. Unlike the nerds who make endless lists of New Year’s resolutions, us video junkies at SkimTheFat have made a resolution to not make resolutions. Between entering a pile of old videos into our database as well as getting a hold of the latest videos, we’re keeping pretty busy. Keep dropping in to see what’s new and remember to stay on top of your stuntwood.

December 14, 2002 - Slappy Holidays, Skaters! Washington finally sent us the results for the now legendary Guess The Sucker contest and Erik Endres from Evansville, WI is our supreme grand prize winner! He is happily riding a Sucks Skateboard and can be found tagging his neighborhood with his new pack of stickers. Check out the results. In more recent news, the SkimTheFat staff is taking a well-deserved vacation to Caracas, Venezuela. We’ll be back by New Years, but to aid your grieving while we’re gone, try out the Madness or Mayhem Contest! As always, thanks for visiting and keep on skating.

December 1, 2002 - Thanks to everyone who entered the Sucks Skateboards contest! We have hundreds of entries and are currently calculating the winners. The results will be posted in the next couple of days! For all you skaters out there, our goal is to bring you the biggest and baddest collection of skateboard video information and reviews. November 18, 2002 - A famous poet once said, “Time keeps on slipping, slipping, slipping into the future.” I forget if it was Wordsworth or Lord Byron, but that’s beside the point. Our patented Guess The Sucker contest has been a smash hit AND there’s still time to enter. If you have already done so, then you’re on the path to enlightenment. But if you haven’t, then click the red pill, enter the contest and see the truth behind the world you’re living in. For all the young grasshoppas out there, our goal is to bring you the biggest and baddest collection of skateboard video information and reviews. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to carrier pigeon us. Thanks for visiting and keep on skating.

October 8, 2002 - The official SkimTheFat contest lab monkeys have finally tallied the results of September's one liner contest and have come up with the following: DVD winner – Michael Troutman: "Skater? I barely knew her!" Salami winner – Erin Jackson: "That kids eye is so lazy, it makes ME look ambitious." Yes, these may be considered stale by some of you more elite jokesters, but you should have seen the other entries. Things like "My mother has a toothache" and "Dogtown is a great movie" are as funny as Paula Poundstone. So for all you "non-winners", as we prefer to call you at the new politically correct SkimTheFat, give this month's contest a whirl and redeem yourselves. Not unlike our wieners, give us a couple more days to get it up.

October 1, 2002 - We've received tons of one-liners for our Dogtown DVD contest and we're currently picking our winning line. For all of you that entered, thanks for taking the time and keep a close eye on your email! For you newbies, our goal is to bring you the biggest and best collection of skateboard video information and reviews. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to email us. Thanks for visiting and keep on skating.

August 26, 2002 - There’s less than a week left in our Dogtown DVD giveaway and the one liners are pouring in like hicks at a Nascar race. The quality of some are pretty questionable, but there will still be one lucky winner that will receive full tuition at Dogtown University. What are you waiting for?! Start writing! For you newbies, our goal is to bring you the biggest and best collection of skateboard video information and reviews. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to email us. Thanks for visiting and keep on skating.
