I remeber a time, when I saw tricks in Videos and thought: "hey! I wanna try that." and it wasn't even that unrealistic to go and try it. They just do too many videos these days.

Reply #23 posted on Saturday, March 25, 2006 at 2:50 PM i agree with the last post, i'd rather see a video with a bunch of variety, and style, than a banger video. i think progression is good, but it doesn't have to be the latest and greatest thing to motivate me or impress me. just seeing the chris haslam ollie in round 3 makes me want to go out and skate and try something a little different. i'm never going to 3-flip a twelve stair, so while i think it's impressive, it doesn't really motivate me much. i thought the dumbest post on here was the one about how daewon is washed up. wtf? or maybe that was just a joke that went over me head. he's creative, skating needs more people like him, rodney, ronnie, mj, etc. but also with style. like rodney, he's insanely good, but his style is pretty wacky, you don't really want rodney's style even if you want all his tricks. then there are people like jason lee who don't do anything amazing but they motivate you with their style. also, i have to say, there is such a thing as lines with stairs! someone on here tried to make the point that lines are only flatground and benches, which is wrong.
